What is Family Membership?

Family club membership is designed to help get the whole family involved in the sport.  It is developed around having 1 person as the driver and the remainder of the family being 1 adult and 3 kids to be their raving fans at every event.

What different driver levels is there?

C GRADE  - Car park Driver - Licensed to drive the car park and skid pan course individually at low speed so no requirement for role cages or special equipment.

B GARDE - Track Training - Licensed to drive the car park course and deemed competent to test the track.  Helmets required for all training days but role cages not compulsory due to being low speed event.

A GRADE - AAA/Battle Driver - Must have a role cage in the vehicle and be qualified to drive at high speed.  Full protection is required. Can be on the track at the same time as another driver.

Grading is available at any of our events by A Grade drivers. please ask our volunteers if you wish to be graded to a higher level.

Can I go on the skid pan?

Yes at Driftkhana and Learn To Drift Events.


You Will Need:-
1. Current AASA General License or
3. Be 14 yrs of age or older

What are the carpark rules?

Sub Regs are available for each event that describes the rules

What are the rules on Track?

1. Full length clothing

2. Helmet required at all times

3. Only drifting in areas designated by officials

4. All body parts in the car at all times 

5. Follow all safety guidelines and rules given by officials

How old do I need to be?

Minimum age is 14

What car do I need?

TEDA. Is unable to provide a car for you at this time so it is BYO.

Car park: Any car will which will pass a Green slip inspection will pass.

Track: Must be up to Motor Sports Australia regulations found here

What should I bring?

Other than your car, it is recommended to bring a basic tool kit, jack, spare tyres as required and drinks, food and a fan to cool yourself or your car down!


For day time events, bring your own shade for family and friends. Pit bays are available for events just ask if there aren’t enough open when you arrive.
